Professional Learning Communities in Science Education

The ESRC has just issues a call for proposals to research the enhancement of engagement and achievement of pupils in Science Education.  I think there might be an opportunity to investigate how Professional Learning Communities might be used to achieve this aim.  If you are interested in collaborating, then please contact me.

Weather is Wild in UK

The weather’s very unseasonally wild here just now.  Very strong winds, and much rain.  I can’t remember ever seeing the UK weather so wild at this time of year!  I wonder if it’s global warming in some way?
